Application entry-point verification — October 23, 2026 America/Toronto

Self-authored .NET 8 invoice-checking application, not a customer product. Production anonymous Free endpoint, renamePublic=true, no Pro layers. The native InvoiceConsumer.exe upload was rejected clearly. InvoiceConsumer.dll was processed and replaced under its expected name in a separate publish-folder copy.

Review source before running. Requires .NET 8 runtime/SDK. On Windows, from the extracted folder:
 dotnet original/InvoiceConsumer.dll
 dotnet protected/InvoiceConsumer.dll
 ./original/InvoiceConsumer.exe
 ./protected/InvoiceConsumer.exe
Four launches should print identical JSON with checks=10, events=5 and count=5. Each process asserts known invoice results, JSON, events, state and invalid input. Nonzero exit signals a failed check. The Windows launcher was generated on Windows; other OS launchers are not included or tested. Keep the original/protected folders intact.

The apphost EXE, InvoiceLibrary.dll, runtimeconfig and deps files are unchanged between folders. Only the managed application DLL changes. ILSpyCmd 11.0.0.9375 full application listings and type listings are included for inspection. Hashes identify artifacts, not protection strength.

Source contains the library and consumer projects, and scripts. Optional verify-application.ps1 recompiles the sample and UPLOADS THE APPHOST AND MANAGED APPLICATION to https://freeobfuscator.com/ to repeat the case. It checks native rejection, protects the DLL and compares four launches on Windows. Running only the prebuilt samples does not upload anything.

No product engine source, customer files, payment configuration or private rename map is included. This example does not certify .NET Framework EXEs, other frameworks or OSes, signing, self-contained/single-file apps or arbitrary UI integrations.

The explicit InvoiceApplication class and ExpectedInvoiceCount helper were renamed while Main remains the managed entry point. To rerun the optional online test from this extracted folder: pwsh -File Source/InvoiceExample/verify-application.ps1 -OutputPath rerun
